Aren,t these two bikes twins?

One was in 1/25 kit form. The other in real life (or should I say show circuit?)

One was a harley, other one a triumph.

Besides of having different front ends/ bars, they have absolutely the same overall flair and personality to me. The double tanks, the way too small seat and pussy pad, same decent sissybar, and big ass tiny wheels.

Maybe a designer from revell back in the day walked over a local car show the other day and did see this bad triumph full blown show bike. When at home he thougt about what he had seen... all those  hot rods, customs, harleys and... triumphs.
He then took his pencil and I guess this little trumpet that he recently saw was deep in his mind.
The mind changed a couple of things.
No triumph no more. No dragbars no more....
But that doesnt matter.
The key features and lines stayed in mind.

And a couple months later you could have bought it in the store as a little model.

When painting the model box design he didnt forget to put a portrait of himself studying the lines and details of the bike that one day in the background.

My theory.
